Patton
Samuel Patton appeared in Highland County, OH in 1835, when he purchased several lots in Sinking Spring. He
lived there the remainder of his life, marrying
Margaret Woltz, and, upon her death, her sister Henrietta Woltz.
A total of 9 children were born to Samuel and his wives. He was a well-known merchant in Sinking Spring, and was
postmaster of the village for 29 years. I have tried for years to find his parents and siblings. Can you help?

McKee &
Wickersham
I am seeking information about John McKee and his wife Rebecca Wickersham McKee.  John McKee, I believe
was the father of my g-g-g grandmother,
Mary McKee Limes.  Both families originated from the Frederick County,
Virginia area and came to the southern Fayette/northern Highland County, Ohio area by 1813.
I would be interested to hear from anyone that is a descendant of John and Rebecca Wickersham McKee who
has any information on their ancestry.
